Honda insurance customers may be in for shock when walking down Oxford Street as they are drawn to some eye-catching art.
The prestigious double aspect Wonder Room of Selfridges department store is the new display case for a work by young artist Kyle Bean.
It features a sleek black and white Honda Fireblade hanging from one side of a pair of scales, with the other side balanced out by the disassembled component parts of the bike, all hanging individually by wire.
Mr Bean said that the motorbike captured perfectly what he wanted to achieve in his project, entitled The Conservation of Mass.
"The Fireblade is such an iconic machine worldwide, with Honda also being renowned for their innovation, so this machine and working with Honda was the only way I really wanted to go," the artist explained.
Earlier this month, Honda announced it has commissioned a young director to make a film exploring the "fun side of the modern conscience".
