- The injured party or their legal representative will be paid the relevant amount set out below in the event of accidental injury caused solely and directly by outward violent and visible means which within 12 months result in;

- Cover will cease on the anniversary of your policy following your 75th birthday
- At the age of 70 the permanent total disablement benefit will not be payable and only 50% of all other benefits will be payable
- Suicide or intentional self injury
- Being under the influence of drink or drugs unless prescribed by a doctor, alcoholism, drug addiction, solvent abuse and wilful exposure to exceptional risk unless saving someone’s life
- Any physical, mental or medical condition which existed before cover started under this policy
- Pregnancy, child birth, miscarriage or abortion
- Illegal acts committed by you
- Declared or undeclared war
- Terrorism, as defined by the Terrorism Act 2000
- The insured person serving on active duty in the armed forces
- Engaging in flying (except as a passenger), aerial activities, racing by horse or motor vehicle, motorcycling as a rider or passenger, mountaineering, abseiling or rock climbing,
pot holing or caving, skiing or snowboarding, ice skating, tobogganing or ski jumping
- Travelling in a motor vehicle without using seat restraints as required by law
- Sickness, disease or medical disorder

Your spouse or partner can be added to this policy under the same terms and conditions.
Cancellation right
You may cancel this policy within 14 days of receiving your documentation. If no claims have been made we will refund the premium you have paid. If a claim is made we will be entitled to the first monthly premium. If any other monthly premium is not paid when due, we have the right to cancel the policy with effect from the date the payment was due. You may cancel the policy at any time by telling us either in writing or by phone. We may cancel your policy at any time by giving 14 days notice to your last known address.
Making a claim
Written notice of any claim should be submitted to Swinton PA Unit, Its4me House, Rosary Road, Norwich NR1 4BX.
Customer Care
If you have any cause for complaint you should in the first instance contact either Swinton who arranged the policy for you or MMA Insurance plc which insures the risk. Please always quote your policy number. If after taking this action you are still dissatisfied, please write to the Chief Executive, MMA Insurance plc, Norman Place, Reading RG1 8DA.
Should you then remain dissatisfied you may, short of court action, approach the Financial Ombudsman Service, at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR. There are a few instances where the Financial Ombudsman Service is not able to assist and you must have allowed us the opportunity to resolve your complaint before the Financial Ombudsman Service become involved.
Financial Services Compensation Scheme
We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to receive compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances for the claim. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% for the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.

Insurance Premium Tax, totalling £179.28 for the 3 year period or £9.96 per

the 3 year period
- For Personal Accident +, the Monthly Premium is £7.98 per month inclusive of
Insurance Premium Tax, totalling £287.28 for the 3 year period or £15.96 per
month inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax for joint cover, totalling £574.56 for
the 3 year period
- Monthly Premium valid for: the duration of the Policy
- Fees, administrative charges and taxes payable (in addition to the Premium):
