How it works

An engineer will come out and fit a Drive It Down device to your car. It doesn't take long and will mean you qualify for a great discount on your policy.

Using the latest telematics technology Swinton Drive It Down will monitor your:

The device monitors your driving behaviour and gives you a score between 5 (Excellent) and 0 (Very Poor). Your starting score is around 3.7, and as long as you keep your score above 3 you will keep your massive discount. Your score will go down if you speed, accelerate or brake erratically or consistently driving at night. If you score slips below 3 part of your discount will be removed and your policy premium may increase.

Drive It Down Dashboard

We provide you with your own Drive It Down dashboard, which shows your score and allows you to keep an eye on how you're getting on. The dashboard also lets you see reports for the last month, so you can track your own performance.
