Our Business Equipment Insurance is an optional extra which you can add to your core Tradesman policy; get a quote online or retrieve your quote as an existing customer. This policy is provided by Coplus, a trading name of Motorplus Limited, and is underwritten by Astrenska Insurance Limited.

Cover Details

Businesses come in all shapes and sizes, which is why we offer four levels of cover so that you can have the amount of protection that works for your trade. Choose cover for any one claim up to:

• £1,000
• £3,000
• £5,000
• £10,000

You'll be covered for:

• Like-for-like replacement of stolen items
• The cost to replace an item you own
• The cost to replace an item you've hired, up to the amount you're liable to pay on your contract
• The cost to repair an item to the same working condition it was in immediately before damage
• Tools are covered while in use, in transit, left in locked storage on site or overnight in a locked vehicle. 
• Any portable electronic equipment used for business (mobile phones, laptop)

Tools and business equipment stolen from vehicles by forced entry are covered, as long as they are not visible, and your vehicle security devices are working and activated.
