Vauxhall is a British car brand, owned by American automotive giant General Motors, and has been the second biggest seller in the UK for more than 20 years, beaten only by Ford.
Its current models range from small city cars to family vehicles, convertibles, estates, 4x4s and seven-seaters. All new Vauxhall cars come with a three-year warranty that includes roadside assistance for the first year.
Vauxhall’s smallest model is the VIVA hatchback city car, while at the top of the range is the sporty Cascada cabriolet. Its most popular is the Corsa hatchback.
Vauxhall originally made engines for boats, but switched to cars in 1903. Today it employs 35,000 people in the UK. Its German sister company, Opel, sells many identical models on the continent but with an Opel badge instead of Vauxhall.
