What do you need to do today?
If you have Car, Home or Motorbike insurance, the quickest and easiest way to renew is online using My Account.
If you have opted in to auto-renew and nothing has changed on your renewal, you don't need to contact us. We'll renew your policy automatically so you remain covered. If you pay for your policy annually, you will need to ensure your card details are up to date on your account, otherwise your policy will not automatically renew.
You can check details of your renewal 24/7 online in My Account, including your renewal documents, by logging in and selecting "Renew Policy" on the relevant policy. Please take some time to read your renewal documents, and check that nothing has changed.
If you have chosen to opt-out of auto-renewal, you can still renew online quickly and easily:
- Login to My Account
- Select 'Renew policy' on the relevant policy
- Take some time to read your documents, and check that nothing has changed
If you pay monthly;
- Tick the box in the 'What happens next?' section and select 'Confirm' to complete your renewal
If you pay annually;
- Tick the box in the 'What happens next?' section and select "Renew Policy Now" to proceed
- Select the card you wish to pay with, or select 'Enter New Card Details' to add a new card
- You should now see a 'Thank You' confirmation message
- You must renew before your renewal date, or your policy will end and you will be left without cover.
Did you know?
You can now change your payment method at renewal in My Account, giving you the option to either pay in full or by monthly direct debit regardless of how you made payment last year.

You can change your car online 24/7 in My Account. We apply a reduced service charge for changes made online.

To replace the car to be insured on your Car Insurance policy:
- Login to My Account and click ‘Manage Policy’ on the policy you would like to amend
- Select ‘Make a Change’ under the ‘Car’ section
- Choose when you would like the change to be effective from
- From the drop-down, choose 'Change car details'
- Select 'Confirm'
- Select 'Replace My Current Car'
- Enter the details of your new car
- Check the rest of the information to ensure it's still correct
- Select 'Get Quote’
There may be a change to your premium as a result of doing this. You’ll see a quote for any increase or decrease in your premium as a result of your change of car details or any other amendments before you decide to proceed. Accepting the new quote will make the amendments to your car details and your documents will be updated online.
Can't see the 'Make a Change' button?
If you cannot see the 'Make a Change' button when you view your policy, you may not be able to make a change to your policy at this time. Please contact us via Live Chat and our team can look into this for you.
Help with logging into your account

If you don’t remember setting up a username and password, please register an account here. You’ll need your Policy Number to hand — this can be found on your confirmation letter or email.

To change the address on your Car Insurance policy:
- Login to My Account and click ‘Manage Policy’ on the policy you would like to amend
- Select ‘Make a change’ under the ‘Car’ section
- Choose the date you would like the change to be effective from
- From the drop-down, choose 'Change your details'
- Click 'Confirm' to proceed
- Find your current address under 'Contact Information'
- Click 'Change address', and enter your new address
- Check the rest of the information on the page to ensure it's still correct
- Click 'Get Quote'
There may be a change to your premium as a result of this change. You'll see a quote for any increase or decrease in your premium as a result of your change of address or any other amendments before you decide to proceed. Accepting the new quote will make the amendments to your address and postcode, and your documents will be updated online.

To add a new driver or edit an existing driver on your Car Insurance policy:
- Login to My Account and click ‘Manage Policy’ on the policy you would like to amend
- Select ‘Make a Change’ under the ‘Drivers’ section
- Select the date you would like the change to be effective from
- From the drop-down, choose 'Change additional drivers'
- To add a new driver;
- Click “Add additional driver”
- Complete the new drivers details
- Click ‘Confirm Driver’s Details’
- To edit an existing additional driver(s);
- Click ‘Amend’ next to the driver you are editing (the fields will be prepopulated with their current details)
- Click 'Confirm Driver's Details'
- To remove an additional driver(s); Click ‘Remove’ next to the driver you would like to remove from the policy
- You can choose to ‘Make Further Changes’ if you need to.
- Click 'Get Quote'
There may be a change to your premium as a result of doing this. You'll see a quote for any increase or decrease in your premium as a result of your change(s) before you decide to proceed. Accepting the new quote will confirm your changes and your documents will be updated online.

I have breakdown cover and need help
Policies with a start date before 1st September 2024 or policies where breakdown cover was purchased before 1st September 2024
If you have a policy that you took out before 1st September 2024 or have a policy where you purchased breakdown cover before 1st September 2024, your breakdown cover is provided by Inter Partner Assistance S.A. UK.

Policies taken out after 1st September 2024 or policies where breakdown cover was purchased after 1st September 2024
If you have a policy that you took out after 1st September 2024 or have a policy where you purchased breakdown cover after 1st September 2024, your breakdown cover is provided by RAC Limited.
The quickest way to make a claim is online.
Alternatively, you can contact them on 0330 013 2072 if in the UK or 00 33 475 43 52 55 if you’re in the EU and have opted for EU cover.

Checking if you’re covered
To find out if you already have breakdown cover included on your policy you can check this in your documents 24/7 in My Account.
Alternatively you can also select "Make a Claim" on the policy you want to check, which will show you all the available claim options for your policy. If the information for your breakdown provider isn’t showing here then it means that you do not currently have it on your policy.
It is important to check that you do have breakdown cover as it is an optional extra which means you’ll only have it on your policy if you’ve chosen to add the cover.
