Making a change to your car insurance policy

You can access your cover details 24 hours a day by logging in to your My Account area.

You can make a range of changes to your policy including:

  • Amendments to your details
  • Changes to your Car Insurance policy
  • Start new quotes using your saved details

Renewing your insurance policy


We'll calculate your car insurance renewal about three weeks before the end of your current policy, searching for our cheapest renewal price from a range of car insurers on your behalf. Once your renewal quote is available, you’ll be able to view your quote at any time via the My Account area of our website and we'll also send it to you in the post.

If you are happy with your new quote and want to renew

  • If you currently pay for your car insurance policy by monthly direct debit, you don't need to do anything, we'll take care of everything for you and renew your policy automatically so you remain covered.
  • If you pay for your car insurance annually in a single payment, you can complete your payment online securely through the My Account area of our website. Simply log in using your username and password, or you can register for My Account with your policy number, postcode and date of birth. You must renew online or by calling us before your renewal date or your policy will end and you will be left without cover.
